Dog Socialization Training

Service Description

Does your dog or it's human need some social skills training? Want to build a relationship and understanding of your dogs behavior? Want tips and protocols to steer owners through bad and unwanted behaviors? Want to be more comfortable in dog park setting with full faith and trust in your canine companion to be on their best behavior? We are excited to begin offering socialization classes Tue & Sat for larger breed dogs (minimum 30 lbs.). These classes are brought to you by Western Gateway Dog Park and are FREE for members. We are so fortunate to have Beverly Mercier Ward a leading dog trainer with 30 years of experience building these bonds and hosting our dog park socialization class. Space is limited to 6 dogs per class. Sign up is required. This is a members only class. Please no treats or toys. Evaluation by Beverly (Trainer) will happen at first class you attend. You will also be required to sign a liability waiver. Do not bring ill dogs, dogs in heat or dogs showing signs of kennel cough. It is recommended that your dog be fully vaccinated and have Bordetella for socializing. Dangerous or unruly behavior either human or canine will be asked to leave.
